Tällberg Global Leaders tells their story

De Balie is a civic theatre and café designed as a center for politics, culture and media at Leidseplein in Amsterdam. De Balie has gained international acclaim for its design of programs that include politics, art, society, media, and cinema.  De Balie and the Tällberg Foundation share an ethos of relentless questioning, sharp analysis, respect for innovation and creativity, and a commitment to engaging with a broad range of perspectives.

This year’s Global Leaders will share their stories in a public session hosted by De Balie, Amsterdam. All five are women – selected from a nomination pool that was majority male. These extraordinary leaders will share their views on the qualities and competences essential to meeting the challenges of this century. What are the best practices for making a difference in a complex global environment? Are we moving toward a more collaborative, rather than competitive leadership style? The discussion will be moderated by Jeroen Smit with Defne Ayas.

The Tällberg Foundation each year recognizes and engages pathfinding leaders who are seeking to make a difference in a complicated global environment. At a time of growing doubts about the quality of leadership in many countries, they demonstrate that individual leaders who are innovative, ethical, determined and willing to take great risks, still exist.

The session ”Leadership for a Better World” will be live-streamed on November 28, 17.00 CET.

If you miss the live streaming of the session, the recording will be available here.
